Paypal stock has declined more than 50% since the beginning of this year. Growing uncertainty in the market has indeed cast some doubts on the near-term prospects of this company.
However, below are two reasons why I am still extremely bullish on Paypal.
Reason 1: Paypal and its fully-owned subsidiary Venmo have greatly focused on B2B partnerships. Be it integration with Apple to support the Tap To Pay feature, or providing convenient and secure payment solutions to Amazon – Paypal is going strong in the B2B space and this will help drive its supported transaction volume play. Eventually, this will result in improving the company’s profitability and revenue figures in both the short and long term.
Reason 2: Despite unfavorable macroeconomic factors, Paypal reported strong YoY Growth in Q3. Its revenue continues to grow in double digits. In the current market scenario, these numbers are beyond impressive.
In conclusion, Paypal is a company with strong fundamentals and solid future prospects. To not miss out on an amazing opportunity, make sure it is on your watch list.
