3 Reasons Not To Sell META Stock [Last One Is Most Important]

Date: October 24, 2022

At the time of writing this article, META stock has declined more than 60% from its value at the beginning of the year.

While in 2022, the complete market has been in a state of turmoil, META stock has taken a sizable beating even when compared to the S&P500 index.

Now, it is true that some of this decline in META’s valuation is justified given its declining Net Income and Earnings per Share numbers.

Here are three reasons why META stock is still a worthwhile investment.

META Continues to Deliver on Daily Active User Growth

Growth in Active Daily Users across Meta Family of products remains strong. META is home to 2.88 billion daily active users.

Even with the aggressive population growth estimates, that is more than 35% of the global population

With Advertisement being META’s primary source of earning, this is a strong signal that META as a company is still positioned to thrive.

META Continues To Deliver Strong EPS Numbers

As per Fy’22 Q2 reporting, among other popular big-tech companies, META reported highest Earnings per Share numbers. However, over the course of this year META has also experienced the highest decline in stock price.

This clearly indicates that the market may be over-reacting to broader market sentiment and overly dumping META stock.

META’s Partnership With Microsoft Signals Strong Future Prospects for Metaverse

Meta’s growing focus on Metaverse has been the cause of concern for many investors. However, what people fail to realize is Metaverse is a completely new arena and if it gets the mainstream attention, META may become a league of its own.

Recent partnership between Microsoft and META does indicates big-tech warming up to the concept of Metaverse.

As key players in industry cozy up to Metaverse, the chances of META stock’s gaining long term bullish momentum remain strong.
